Crunchy moms and disillusioned youth: Why America is undergoing radical transformation

Americans are gearing up for the sweeping changes they expect as Donald Trump takes the coveted seat of the Oval Office. RFK Jr.'s former running mate, Nicole Shanahan, couldn't be more excited about what's to come.

“The atmosphere around President Trump right now is similar to the atmosphere in the Democratic Party that was really thriving in the late '80s and early '90s. There was a sense of professionalism, virtue, honesty, transparency. ” says Shanahan. James Pross “Zero Hour”.

“People who still believe in the Democratic virtues of the '80s, '70s, '90s are not happy. They just don't know they're ready to jump because it's kind of scary to jump. “It is,” she added.

“That's where change comes from,” Poulos answers. “I think there's a huge generational shift. I mean, we're starting to get a younger generation now, and for these kids, it's like, 'Of course I voted for Trump.'

“This is becoming an accepted baseline,” he added, noting that he believes it started during COVID-19.

“They were teenagers or younger during the coronavirus pandemic, but they realized that half their lives, a quarter of their lives, were spent by people who had no responsibility, things they knew they wouldn't do. “I've seen it taken away in a way by people who were pressuring them to do things they didn't want to do, and now they're coming of age and becoming adults,” he continues.

While young people are awakening to the grave mistakes made by the Democratic Party in recent history, they are also being shown new ways of living that they never knew were possible.

“It's like a cool pop culture thing for young people to want farmland. Ballerina Farms, I follow her, she's amazing. And I follow this woman too. This Women will tell you what it was like to cook large meals on outdoor fireplaces, hang roasts, and roast them slowly,” Shanahan explains.

Regardless of political affiliation, the healthier you are, the more right-wing you start to lean. And Poulos realized this during COVID-19, too.

“In 2020, COVID-19 vaccinations were mandated, and the first people who raised the red flag, at least in my experience, were the hard-nosed women of Topanga Canyon who said, “This doesn't work.'' I was like, “I have to say no,''' he explains.

“I think the most shocking and very disturbing thing that happened in a town like Topanga was when we saw some of the most difficult women voting for Trump,” Shanahan agreed, adding: . It makes perfect sense, since the people of Topanga want freedom. ”
