A local meteorologist who worked for a CBS affiliate in Milwaukee was fired from his job after posting a social media critique denouncing Elon Musk's controversial arm gesture at a pro-Trump rally as “Nazi” It was done.

Representatives for Weigel Broadcasting Company, which owns the station, confirmed the firings in an emailed statement to the Journal Sentinel on Wednesday.

Kuffel's post criticizing Musk was discovered by conservative radio host Dan O'Donnell on Tuesday. I wrote to X: “CBS 58 Meteorologist Sam Kuffel posted two vulgar posts on Instagram while spreading the lie that Elon Musk gave a Nazi salute at yesterday's presidential inauguration.”

Kuffel, who has worked for local stations in the Wisconsin area since graduating from college in 2016, was arrested this fall on Fox Sports NFL for falsifying weather warnings during the Packers-Lions game in Green Bay. It became a hot topic after criticizing side reporter Erin Andrews.
“I'm begging Erin Andrews to stop making up weather forecasts,” Kuffel said in a since-deleted post on X, adding, “Hearing things like this makes me irrationally angry.” he added.
