Spirit Airlines has updated its terms of carriage to prohibit obscene and offensive fashion choices towards passengers.
The low-cost airline quietly made a policy change on Wednesday to combat a trend of provocatively dressed passengers that has come under fire at the expense of spirit.

John Calcia Jr., 43, was flying from Los Angeles to San Antonio and was wearing a hoodie with “FVCK HATE WORLD TOUR” written on the front and back.
Some Spirit Airlines staff members clutched their pearls upon hearing these words.
“It was a complete surprise,” Garcia told the San Antonio Express-News. “It's like, 'Hey, are you serious?'”
Airline staff ordered the Texan father of four to remove his “offensive” hoodie due to “obscene language,” but he ultimately complied. It was a waste. Garcia was eventually escorted from the plane.
During the altercation, which was captured on video, Garcia asked a Spirit Airlines flight attendant if his attire violated policy.
Back in October, two female passengers were removed from a Spirit Airlines flight for wearing crop tops.

Teresa and Tara were flying from Los Angeles to New Orleans when a male Spirit Airlines employee pointed out that their cropped white tank tops were too revealing.
The two would-be travelers disputed the insistent airline employee's claims, but were ultimately kicked off the plane without receiving a refund.
Spirit Airlines did not respond to The Post's request for comment by press time.
