President Donald Trump noted on Saturday that he wants to “clean up” Gaza and send bombed-out Palestinian refugees from there to neighboring Middle Eastern countries.
During an extended question and answer session on Air Force 1, President Trump floated the idea of mobilizing the Palestinians to create a clean slate.
“We want people to go to Egypt,” the president said, AP reports: it's over. '”
“I love [Jordan] I'm looking at the entire Gaza Strip now, so to do more, it's a mess. It's a real mess. ”
Trump added that this type of relocation of Palestinians “could be temporary or long-term.”
“Something has to happen. But it's literally a demolition site. Almost everything has been destroyed and people are dying there,” he stressed.
“So I would like to get involved in some of the Arab countries and build housing elsewhere.
