The NYPD on Sunday released surveillance footage of Sicco attempting to rape a 32-year-old woman in Queens early Friday.
The video captured the suspect, wearing blue jeans and a light-colored sweater, leaving the scene of the attack in East Elmhurst around 5:45 a.m., police said in a press release.
The victim was walking near 31-31 94th St. Authorities said the attacker sneaked up behind her, put a handkerchief over her mouth, threatened to kill her, and threw her to the ground.
Officers said the offender pulled down the woman's pants and underwear and attempted to assault her.
That's when brave locals discovered the vicious attack and intervened. WABC-TV News reported.
“I kind of lifted the window and I heard someone say in Spanish, 'I have three kids, three kids!'” a female witness, who asked not to be identified, told Eyewitness News. “When I opened the gate door and I saw a man on top of a woman, that's when I started yelling at him.
“I just went after him,” she said. “But first of all, I wasn't wearing the right shoes and it was slippery, so I knew I wasn't going to make it.”
The policeman said the devil had escaped. His traumatized victim was listed in stable condition after being rushed to a local hospital, according to the NYPD.

Police sources said the victim was apparently returning home from work when he was attacked.
Officers are asking anyone who can help would-be rapists to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or Crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
“I'm glad I was able to stop it,” said the Good Samaritan.
