Trump Strengthens Israel’s Bargaining Position vs. Hamas, Hezbollah

Trump administration strengthens Israel's negotiating position in its first week in office against Hamas and Hezbollah, two Iranian-backed terrorist organizations that launched a brutal war against Israel in October 2023 but failed did.

Israeli government spokesman David Mensah acknowledged Monday that the Trump administration was helpful.

“Israel is extremely grateful to the new Trump administration for maintaining the strong ties between our two countries.…Yesterday, the Prime Minister said: [Benjamin Netanyau] He especially thanked President Trump for giving Israel the tools it needed to protect itself. '' He was referring to President Trump's decision to rescind President Joe Biden's order banning the sale to Israel of 2,000-pound bombs used to destroy buildings planted by terrorists.

Mensah also noted that Prime Minister Netanyahu met with newly appointed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and offered his congratulations.
