House Republican leaders are scheduled to hold a press conference Monday afternoon to kick off the GOP's annual policy retreat in Florida.
The GOP conference will be held at the Trump National Doral just outside Miami, where they will discuss how to navigate divisions within their ranks and implement President Trump's ambitious legislative agenda.
House GOP leaders want to move Trump's legislative agenda, which encompasses the 2017 tax cuts, energy policy and border policy extensions, into a single bill through the budget reconciliation process, rather than splitting it into two parts as Republicans , already indicates that it will try to move a single bill. I was hoping and hoping it would deliver some Trump wins faster.
The special process bypasses the threat of a Democratic filibuster in the Senate, but would require near-indifferent support from a slim House GOP majority.
