The New Jersey customer, Horizomble Cross Blue Shield, stated that the company did not agree to the new contract conditions on Thursday that it was possible to find Hakken Sack Ceridia Health Hospital outside the network this spring.
The Edison -based healthcare system, Hacken Sackmeridian, sent a letter to the horizon, saying that the insurance company provided an insufficient refund rate during negotiations.

The battle attacks two healthcare giants with each other. Horizo N, based in New Arc, is the largest health insurance company in the state with 3.8 million members. Hackensack Meridian runs 18 hospitals and has 36,000 employees.

The hospitals in Montmas County and Ocean County are as follows. Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Holmdel Bay Shoa Medical Center. Red Bank River View Medical Center. College of College of Colena. Stafford's Southern Ocean Count Medical Center.
The contract affects Horizo N commercial customers. It does not apply to customers covered through Medicade or Braven Medicare Advantage Plan. It is not applied to Hackensack Meridian doctors such as primary care providers.

According to the consulting company PWC, the stalemate state between HORIZION and HACKENSACK MERIDIAN is expected to increase medical expenses at the fastest rate in 13 years.
Both sides have negotiated new contracts for the last year to maintain the Horizo N's major network of HACKENSACK MERIDIAN HOSPITATALS. Patients usually have less payment from pockets when visiting a provider in the network.

HACKENSACK MERIDIAN ended the hospital from Horizo N Network last October. This movement will be valid on February 1, but patients can take care until June 1st. Later, late illnesses, serious or complex conditions, behavioral health services, non -selected surgery, or pregnancy customers can continue. Take care for up to 90 days. Other patients can continue to visit the hospital, but they will pay more pockets.

Horizo N stated that Hackensack Meridian has demanded significant prices for services and care at the facility. “The high price at the hospital will increase the cost of members' self -pay and insurance premiums directly, and make health care affordable,” says Horizo N.
