An Iraqi man who carried out Quran burnings in Sweden is killed in a shooting

Authorities said on Thursday that some of the Iraqi, who performed some Koran combustion in Sweden, had been killed by a shooting near Stockholm.

Prosecutors said that five were arrested overnight on suspicion of murder. They said they were all adults, but did not give any more details.

Mamaika claimed that his protest was targeting Islamic religion, not Muslims. He said he wanted to protect Sweden's population from the Koran message. Sweden police allowed him to demonstrate the freedom of speech, submitting a accusation to him.

In March last year, TT reported that he was arrested in a nearby Norway and sent back to Sweden after saying that he would be in exile.

MOMIKA and the co -defendant were charged with hatred in August for a statement related to the combustion of the Koran. The decision was to be conveyed on Thursday morning.
