Peta Punxsutawney Groundhog CLUB has urged the Punxsutawney Phil to remove PunxSutawney Phil from the Groundhog Day duties.
Animal activist organization We are not planning to leave the club empty -handed, but provide a weather with weather instead of him.
In a letter to Club Chairman Tom Dunkel, non -profit organizations offered cakes in exchange for Phil and his family in the animal's sanctuary.
How can the cake convey the weather, may you ask?
Well, according to Peta, desserts have two colors of blue or pink.
If the blue is inside the cake, it means the extra 6 weeks of winter. In the case of pink color, the start of early spring to spring is on the horizon.
“If you are allowed to be yourself, the ground hog avoids humans, creates complicated networks of the underground holes, communicates with each other, and even climb trees, but the poor Phil is a tired old gimmick. All that will be denied. ”
Despite the opposition of Peta, the tradition of the ground hog day dates back in 1887 and flocked in the central part of Pennsylvania to celebrate thousands of traditions.
