Trump recognizes Tiger Woods, Harriet Tubman for Black History Month

“Black Americans are one of Japan's most consequences,” said President Trump on Friday, “I am honored,” saying February is “honored.”

“Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tabman, Thomas Swell, Judge Clarence Thomas, and other American heroes represent the best in the United States and her citizens,” Trump said in a statement.

Black History Month celebrates the performance of black Americans and that they have contributed to American society. This month, created by Carter G. Woodson, originally began as a Black History Week and was scheduled for President Lincoln's birthday.

The theme of this year's Black History month, which is determined every year by the Life and History Research Association, is African Americans and labor.

Friday Trump said, “Everything they did to bring us at this moment,” said he wanted to expand his tremendous thanks to the future contribution to the black Americans.

“Their achievements, which have advanced to commemorate equal traditions based on our great country law, continue to be inspired by all Americans,” Trump said.

“We will also never forget the achievements of American greats, such as Tiger Woods, which spread out the outstanding boundary in each field.
