Zion National Park hiker dies after suffering full on Canyon Overlook Trail

Utah officials have recently announced the death of a hiker where a body was discovered at Zion National Park on weekends.

On a Facebook post on Sunday, the Washington District Safety Office stated that a tourist was found on the park canyon overlook trail that morning. According to Fox's weather, he was 37 years old.

“At around 7:06 am, the Consolidated Communications Center received a phone call to report the possibility of a hiker in Zion National Park,” said the post. “Hurricane Valley Fire And Rescue first arrived at the scene, discovered that a man had died, and decided that he had exceeded his help around 7:40 am.”

“Representative Washington County arrived immediately and confirmed the survey results.”

The Sheriff Office said that Park Rangers in Zion's National Park also responded to the park search rescue squad.

“The detectives of the Washington County Office are actively investigating,” a statement concluded. “There is no more details at this time.”

“The Washington County Service Office is grateful for the rescue rescue of Hurricane Valley, the Zion Park Rangers, and the rescue for the Technical search for Zion.”

It is not uncommon for a fatal accident in a US national park. Zion National Park Last January, a 63 -year -old man from California died of cardiac arrest while hiking in Zion.

In October, a 40 -year -old man died after accidentally falling between 150-200 feet near one of the Gorge of Zion National Park.
