Donald Trump is expected to become the first seating president to attend Super Bowl Sunday to try to become the first team in NFL history for Patrick Mahomez and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mahomes gave reporters his idea that Trump would attend the game on Wednesday.
“It's always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president,” Mahomes said. “People who are at the top of our country.”

When asked Wednesday who was expecting Trump to win the Super Bowl, the president did not give a definitive answer, but hinted at Mahomes' success.
“I don't want to say that, but there are certain quarterbacks who look like pretty good winners,” Trump said when asked which teams are rooting for.

Trump did not identify Mahomes by name, but he has expressed his love and respect for the quarterback and his wife, Brittany in recent months. Other quarterbacks, Eagles star Jalen Hurts, who plays in the game, have yet to win the Super Bowl.
Mahomes realised that Trump was probably talking about him and gave him his thoughts on the inexplicable admiration from the president.
