New York City, New York – Reflecting former President Ronald Reagan's “peace by strength” mantra, President Donald Trump has the credibility to end nearly three years of war between Ukraine and Russia, said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Shijalto told Fox News Digital.
“If he doesn't have the ability, no one will have the ability,” Foreign Minister Shijart said.
Nearly three years after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, world leaders of several countries tried to end it through conflict. Szijjártó believes there is a reason why European leaders and the Biden administration “failed completely” to end the war. The Foreign Minister believes that world leaders are fighting for “impossible” victory, and says that it is “clear from the start” that Ukraine cannot win.
“If we look at the current situation, regardless of the huge amount of money, regardless of the delivery of the enormous weapons poured into Ukraine, the reality of the battlefield shows the progress of the Russians,” Shijalt said.

Szijjártó believes Trump has credibility for both Ukrainians and Russians, and while other leaders have this, he says, “a very clear advantage in Ukraine against Russia.” I believe that I lost it by taking a stand.
Hungarian officials also accused European leaders of treating the war between Russia and Ukraine as their own, adding it to a list of reasons why they didn't end it.
“So if you really think Ukraine should negotiate in the best way, then tomorrow's Ukraine is in a more vulnerable position than today, and we must stop the war today,” Shijalt told Fox News Digital. He went on to accuse his European colleagues of not respecting the “reality” of the current state of war.
This week, Ukrainian Voldymi Zelenki said Kiev would accept either NATO or a fast nuclear truck. But ret. Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, Trump envoy for Russia and Ukrainians, doubts that the demands of Ukrainian leaders will be met.
“The chances they could regain nuclear weapons are between Slim and who,” Kellogg told Fox News Digital.

Later last month, Trump asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to sign a contract with Zelensky to end the war. However, this has not happened yet. The president also said Zelensky is ready to negotiate a contract to end the war.
“The thing Putin really wants to talk about is President Trump, because he denigrated the other leaders there, and President Trump is the only person who can bring this to a conclusion,” Kellogg said, “Fox “Weekend to & Friends”” Sunday. He described Trump and Putin's relationship as “very traded.”
