Yesterday, the US woke up to news that Politico had received $8 million from the federal government, causing rapid and widespread rage.
“Is there a media role that holds the government responsible? Doesn't this create a big conflict of interest?” Liz Wheeler asks “The Liz Wheeler Show.”
In the end, the answer is yes. Unfortunately, the correct answer for the US is no. Our legacy media has been a Democrat for a long time.
And according to yesterday's bulletin, they were paid to do it.
Liz breaks down the scandal in detail. We see that the $8 million that everyone has arms crossed is just a small part of what politics actually was paid by the federal government.

The news that Politico received $8 million from USAID came after Elon Musk and Doge spent a week revealing the agency about what it really is. do not have “Humanitarian organisations that strengthen democratic development around the world” are actually “the front of the CIA, the front of administration and revolutionary and propaganda efforts that will change the government” and both overseas and domestically.
But digging deep into the ambiguous relationship between politics and the federal government reveals that the outlet has not received $8 million from USAID. Over the course of a decade, it received a total of $34.3 million from various corrupt government agencies.
“If the media organization is subsidized for a $34.3 million adjustment, then there is no such objectivity,” says Liz.
This week, Politico employees woke up on payday without pay. The issue was due to a “technical error,” according to an email sent to employees.
Liz doesn't think so.
By attributing this issue to a technical error, “Politico's leadership not only gaslights you, an American taxpayer, they're gaslighting their own employees,” Liz said. Say.
As her team delved into the scandal, they discovered that Politico was receiving grants from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Education and Agriculture sector, and also from sub-agencies such as the FDA, EPA, and CDC. These payments began in 2015. “The year when Donald Trump went out of that golden elevator and promised to make America great again.”
Furthermore, federal dollars paid for politics “surged exponentially when the Biden administration took office.”
And then suddenly, why “every headline, every article [Politico] What was published was perfectly consistent with the interests of the swamp,” Liz said, pointing to the handling of the outlets in the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.
“Russian disinformation campaign” and politics called it. Because it was “the official story of the Inter community, the swamp, the Unipart and the Biden administration.”
The federal government is trying to justify these payments by claiming that it is a “subscription paid by a federal agency to members of Politico Pro.”
“If you're paying $10,000 a year for a subscription, that's not a subscription. It's sponsorship,” says Liz.
Furthermore, even if this money was only used for subscriptions, the purpose would still be leveraged.
“This isn't because these many people in the federal government needed subscriptions to this extent. It's… that they give them the coverage they wanted, the cover they wanted, the cover they wanted, the cover they wanted. Because I knew I would encourage it,” Liz says. “If your readership base is federal and the federal government cancels their subscription and it has a huge financial impact on you, you are not allowed to make a salary, That's the story.”
