Like one winter storm with snow and ice leaving the northeast, a new winter storm is expected to slap similar areas over the weekend.
New winter weather warnings have already been posted for cities ranging from the Eastern Rockies and Dakotas to New York City and even Boston.
The Fox Prediction Center expects heavy snowfall to occur in the upper Midwest and the Great Lakes on Saturday.
As heavy snow falls, temperatures are expected to be in the teens, and tend to drift away with very light, powdery snow.
The combination of cold air and moisture could mean some areas, such as Minneapolis, Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin. And Detroit, Michigan, was able to experience the biggest winter snowstorm ever.
The area outside the storm system arrives northeasterly on Saturday night, creating more snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Fox Forecast Center said, like the first storm, Pennsylvania appears to be in the bull's eyes once again due to the extremely shocking ice.
Across New England, heavy snow falls until the first half of Sunday.
Generally, the north and northeastern regions of New York City are more likely than six inches.
South of Interstate 70, it could be raining over Ohio Valley and the Central Appalachian.
Potentially heavy volumes are the most concern in central Appalachians where soil is already wet and sufficient rainfall is expected, according to the Fox Prediction Center.
