Birmingham, relegated from the Championship last season, have regrouped superbly under their young coach Chris Davies and will fancy their chances of a shock. They are very strong defensively and have conceded only four goals in their last 13 games; Alexander Isak will test just how strong they are*.

The FA Cup is probably third on Newcastle’s list of priorities, behind the Carabao Cup final and qualifying for the Champions League. But when you’ve waited as long as they have for a trophy, everything is worth your best shot.

Important Events

Callum Wilson squeezed the barrel to the left And then I clipped a great ball over the far post. Osla screwed it into a six-yard box and Wilk plunged into the goal with his left foot. The ball was punched by Peacock Farrell, and the momentum took him behind Gorein and played for a few seconds until everyone realized that the assistant had signaled it was a goal.

There is no gorein technology. It looks incredibly close to the naked eye. My instinct is that it was on the line, but I never put a farm on it.

goal! Birmingham 1-1 Newcastle (Wilck 21)

Joe Willuck equals Newcastle, but it's questionable whether the ball has crossed the line!

Share

18 minutes Birmingham is being attacked by Newcastle with all sorts of possibilities. Just a little like Newcastle went to Arsenal on Tuesday. This is a really good game.

Share

15 minutes: A detailed save by the Pope! The resulting free kick was driven over a far post and then returned towards Anderson at the edge of the area. He contorts his body, burns out and takes a slight deflection, slams the sweet left-foot volley pushed out by the flying pope. That's a really good stop.

Share

14 minutes Byrne is reserved to pull back the lights. Birmingham is frustrated that the Ref didn't fulfill its advantage as they had a 2-on-2 break.

Share

12 minutes Livramento reaches the byline and cuts the ball. A square is forced into Wilson along the six-yard line.

Share

10 minutes Newcastle is beginning to dominate the ball, processing the shock of getting behind so quickly.

Share

7 minutes Osla has been fouled on the right by Cochran. Targett's free kick is decisively punched by Peacock-Farrell.

Share

6 minutes The Pope, who is not the best on the foot, blows a pass straight out of play.

Share

4 minutes Iwata's path is intercepted by Willlock. Willlock spikes 50 yards below the left and curls the dangerous cross. Rather, if there were Newcastle players in this area it would have been a dangerous cross.

St Andrews is ballistic. It came from a corner that worked brilliantly, won Dowell and filmed. He purposely drove it over a far post to Anderson. Anderson pulled away and was not marked at all. Anderson led the header towards Laird six yards away, and wiped out a shot deflected onto the roof of the net by Wilson. Laird's shot was on the target, so that's his goal.

“G'day Rob” Chris Paraskelbass says. “I hope you're fine! “I'm sitting here waiting for 4:30am coffee to boil, so the term “Birmingham” is next for others I wonder if it will bring memories of random access.

  • Peter Enkelman's immortal St. Andrews Klanger.

  • A hit TV show Brum featuring a curious bed, sensual and boundary fascist Autonomous vintage car It solves crimes/runs to people.

  • At that time, Newcastle acquired Viduka, Martins and Michael Owen's “Holy Trinity” in advance at St. Andrews, and broke the record due to a lack of work ethic as the front three.

“I'll pay seriously to see that car pull out a matchball with jerky eyes, Midland's cheeks, smug eyes…”
