Mavericks fans didn't take a collective foot from the gas.
And they haven't overcome the losses of their current Fulmar franchise stars.
Hundreds of fans have planned a protest before becoming the first Mavericks home game without Luka Donsic since the hit Sunday morning trade that sent him to Dallas to the Lakers and Anthony Davis. We gathered near the PNC Plaza, aviation center.
The first people who arrived late Saturday morning expressed their anger, particularly towards general manager Nico Harrison.
Hours before the game introducing the Dallas New Look Team against competing rockets, the truck continued to circulate the Plaza with a “Fire Nico, Sell the Team” sign.
Many fans sporting Donz jerseys, and as they drove in the arena, they pumped their fists with cheers.
Another truck later drove at a Signature read “Inner Traitor” In Harrison's photo.
The crowd swelled as the tip-off time approached at 3pm.
The “Fire Nico” signs appear to be the most common among the group, along with some heartfelt respect for Doncic, such as “We Love 77” and “Loyalty Never Fade Away Away #77 Forever.” Ta.
However, there were also notable signs with creative acronyms and acrostics.
One used Harrison's name to describe the spelling “negligence, incompetence, corruption, unforgettable.”
Another had the letter “MFFL.” This is usually used for the “life of a MAVS fan.”
Instead, fans wrote:
Mavericks coach Jason Kidd was asked by a reporter about the protest outside the arena before the game.
“Noise outside will not affect your work.” Kid said. We are judged by energy and effort. And to understand the fans, you have the right to express yourself. They paid for the game and expressed how they felt. We understand the sadness, wounds or confusion over Luka's trade, but as employees of MAV, we have no choice but to move forward the group we have. Eventually, they will cheer for the group they will play this afternoon and will be happy. ”
The three-team deal, announced early on February 4th, shocked the world of sports as the Mavericks treated Don Sic, Maxi Clever and Marchev Morris to the Lakers. Pick is back in Dallas.

The rally featured a blue cas for holding fake funerals for the franchise, playing Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Putt's “You Again” in the background.
Donsic had a brief but obvious response in his first comment after Chaos.
“That's their decision. I'm not commenting on it. They made the decision, I don't know why… I can't do anything about it,” he said Tuesday.
Harrison believes that getting Davis will help them.
ESPN reported that Dallas is concerned about Don Sic's conditioning and lifestyle habits.
Since the transaction, the Mavericks have been 1-0 since the transaction – reportedly offered season ticket holders a refund for the remaining schedule games without Don Sic.
