The man was arrested after multiple people were stabbed in Dublin's Ireland's capital on Sunday.
According to Report from Irish eraAt least three people were hospitalized after a man suffered a stab wound around 3pm local time in the Stony Batter area of central Dublin on Sunday.
The paper reported that one of the victims was allegedly stabbed in his doorway after returning home. Currently, the three hospitalized victims are not considered to be life-threatening.
Ireland's Gardai police reportedly arrested a male suspect on nearby Manor Place Road shortly after the attack.
Irish era Police sources said they have shown that there are no signs of terrorism at the moment. However, the suspect's identity and background have not yet been revealed. According to the paper, the suspect covered his face during his arrest.
A local female resident told the broadsheet: They all jumped out at the exact same time. I saw the man running and they flew to him outside the house.
“He just cried out, yelled out, 'Leave me alone.' He was as terrifying as someone who hadn't expected it to happen. And it all stopped. ”
