The driver of a hidden carry garbage truck turned a table with a pair of armed robbers in Chicago last month, fatally shooting one of them and wounding the other, police said.
Chicago police He told WLS-TV The shootout occurred around 5:15am on January 31st, shortly away from a high school in the Homan Square area on the west side of the city.

The station cited police, and found a 28-year-old man working as a garbage truck driver in the 900 block of South Horman Avenue when two men approached him, showed him a gun and announced the robbery. He said he was outside.
However, it appears that the pair chose uncomfortably.
Police told WLS that suspects and victims who have valid firearm owner identification cards and those who engaged in the shootout.
One of the suspects, 42 people, were shot in the head and declared dead at the scene, the station reported.
Twenty other suspects were shot in the head and taken to Sinai Mountain Hospital in critical condition, WLS noted.
The victim was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital in good condition for evaluation, the station said.
WLS reported that the garbage truck belongs to the disposal of Flood Brothers and could not contact the owner on the morning of January 31st for comment.
Police recovered two weapons from the scene, the station said, adding that four detectives were investigating.
