Long Island extreme hoarder arrested after animals found in unlivable conditions

A Long Island woman was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and other crimes after 10 dead animals and many seriously neglected additional pets were found inside her home.

According to the Suffolk County SPCA, while running a search warrant at a Kings Park home on February 8, detectives said “there are too many harmful air and feces, urine and rot in the home where animals are trapped inside. We also discovered that there was a stimulating corruption. During the invasion, personnel coughed and made a joke, stabbing their eyes.”

Officials added that the animals found indoors are in “a clumped area of ​​garbage stored over six feet tall in several spaces.”

In addition to finding all the deceased and abused pets, the detectives also allegedly found a large number of apparent drug-related devices in the home, including crack cocaine and MDMA.
