Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) announced Tuesday a law that would protect Medicaid and ensure that the rights program is only available to Americans and not illegal foreigners.
“Providing taxpayer-funded Medicaid to illegal immigrants is against the law, encouraging even more illegal intersections at our borders. What's worse, older people rely on programs. It hurts people, people with disabilities and vulnerable Americans,” Hudson, a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, told Breitbart News in a written statement.
Hudson said, “We must stop enforcing liberal states to step into the illegal medical bills and ensure that they are taking care of their citizens.”
Hudson introduced the Protection Medicaid Act. This is a bill that clarifies federal law to ensure that states cannot use federal funds to implement Medicaid compensation for illegal aliens.
Conservatives in Tarheel state have introduced bills as many Democrats have moved to expand Medicaid compensation to cover illegal foreigners by using federal funds to exploit loopholes in the system. I did.
Medicaid laws currently prohibit the use of federal funds. However, some states can take advantage of loopholes by using state dollars to pay benefits by using federal funds to manage and implement benefits status to illegal aliens.
