Exclusive video: Los Angeles rocked with chaotic — and sometimes violent — anti-ICE protests

Los Angeles, California -Even before President Donald Trump entered the White House for the second time last month, the Angel City was preparing to resist the promised deportation campaign at the political and street activist level.

It is difficult to determine exactly how many illegal immigrants there are in Los Angeles County, but one thing estimate The Institute for Immigration Policy has brought the number to 951,000. But that number came in 2019, more than five years ago, and before millions of illegal immigrants entered the country under the Biden-Harris administration.

The city is currently working on the outlook that it will be the next target for a massive sweep in partnerships between US immigration and customs enforcement and federal law enforcement. The fear of hardened criminals, and others here illegally, have led to daily protests throughout Los Angeles, sometimes out of control.

When protesters took over US-101 near city hall on February 2nd, the anti-ice protests received much attention. Police had to drive hundreds of people away to restore traffic flow.

Every day since that Sunday there have been protests stemming from either the far left group or high school being out of class. Most gather at Los Angeles City Hall or historic Orvera Street, and often waving flags from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, or one of other Latin American countries. There are also several American flags.

The protests gained greater sense of urgency after the Los Angeles Times reported that ICE was planning a massive operation.

Hundreds of high school students from the county took part in the strike during the day last week. Friday was supposed to be one of the biggest and longest shows in support for illegal immigrants, but it soon ended due to multiple fights that broke out among protesters in front of city hall. At one point, one protester stabbed another in the back, causing him to lose significant blood.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrived shortly after a call was received about the stab wounds as they were not on the scene at the time of the battle. The fire department responded to provide medical care and transport victims. The victim was still conscious, but his skin was pale.

The Los Angeles Unified School District does little to keep students away from campus. in statement After the fight and stab wounds, LAUSD administrators said that students “support the right to defend causes that matter to them, but were seriously concerned about the safety of off-campus demonstrations, and that they were able to do so. “We encourage them to stay on campus.”

The protests have gained greater urgency after the Los Angeles Times reported that they were planning a massive operation to arrest illegal immigrants in the area by the end of February. These plans could have probably been changed. This is currently at least the third major leak, so the operation is open to the public. Trump's border emperor Tom Homan has expressed his dissatisfaction with the leak and vows to hold the person in charge accountable to put the officers at risk.

Homan I said Fox News believes investigators have discovered the cause of the leak within the FBI.

“They launched a criminal investigation and promised that this person would not only lose their job, but they would lose their pension. They are going to prison,” Homan said.
