In an interview with Al Radio FM Talk 106.5, Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) responded to “anger” from Senate Democrat colleagues over the Trump administration's efforts to curb government waste.
Alabama Republicans said they weren't upset by the process, as Democrats argue.
“[I] I'm absolutely tired of anger,” she said. You know, it's not the process they have problems with. That's the result. The fact that we see that there is a slash fund that has been misused in the US taxpayer dollars that were supposed to go to something that doesn't fulfill our country's mission. Those are being raised question. Continue these conversations. We will continue to consider how we can curb spending. You are looking at departments like the Ministry of Education. There, it means the department's mission and current outcomes. So I know they were supposed to bridge the gap between HAVE and HAS. Tell me what they're not doing: close that gap. ”
Britt continued. exist? So we continue the tough conversation, but all of those end results and goals are to use taxpayer dollars well, put Americans in a stronger position, be safer and safer. and to have the opportunity to thrive more and achieve America's dreams. ”
