NYCFC celebrates 10th anniversary with NYC skyline-themed uniforms

New York City FC is celebrating its 10th anniversary season with a new kit inspired by the city the team calls home.

On Wednesday, the MLS club unveiled its new home uniforms. This was called the “Excelsior Kit,” and the post gave an exclusive look at the glass and steel reflectivity of New York City's iconic skyline. Before release.

The patch will be worn again on March 15th in the club's home opening match at Yankee Stadium on March 8th. This marks the 10th anniversary of the team's first home game.

Man Danny Laroche of NYCFC Kits, who has managed the team's equipment and uniforms since the team's first season, described the new kit as an indication of how much the organization has grown since its inception.
