When the Senate agreed to delay the vote for Kash Patel on every Democrat's demand, Jill Savage and Blaze News Tonight Matthew Peterson set out a smear campaign against FBI director President Trump's candidate Warned that you will use extra time to start.
And that's exactly what happened.
“Now we're getting a report from the Washington Post claiming that Patel was paid $25,000 from a Russian filmmaker with ties to the Kremlin,” Jill says.

According to Waller, “these crack journalists in the Washington Post” were information “already disclosed to the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Department of Justice ethics.”
Making it a “big scandal” is just as “typical” as the “pre-election October surprise,” he says.
“It's okay if the Russians give Clinton $80 million, right? That's fine, but will you talk about $25,000 for a small TV series?” adds Peterson.
Waller knows the votes are coming, but considering that they are not actually broken at all, this “destroy” news about Kash Patel is unlikely to shake up the vote.
“In fact, this information has already been raised. …The concerns were either dealt with directly with the senator or during the Kash hearing,” he repeats.
Moreover, Patel, a “Russian” filmmaker, had a much more complicated background than the media portrayed.
“He is a Ukrainian citizen, a double citizen of Russia who has become a naturalized American, so he is an American with a Russian and Ukrainian background and citizen,” and of course, “This is what we're reading. It's not actually revealed in the headlines,” Waller says.
