As a Floridian, I can see that the weather is violent as the video shows.
Thursday brought us Qualifying night The 2025 edition of the Daytona 500 is scheduled to appear on television screens this Sunday. And what happened before the qualifying action began, we are prepared for one hell of the weekend. I'm a game!
Things officially started when we had some Adult toy company Signs will be installed outside the Daytona International Speedway to protest NASCAR's decline to sponsorship. News of this began to circulate on Thursday. (Related: There's another reason I don't like Canadians. This is always fun)
Then, after the purpose of this blog, a violent storm knocked the Daytona area shortly after the 4pm ET. And while staff were doing the business inside the building, a considerable number of fans had to deal with the rain and flying umbrellas.

I don't care if you're a NASCAR fan or not. I can only be excited about the Daytona 500. Sunday will be wild!
