‘We Haven’t Asked You to Speak’

President Donald Trump silenced CNN's Kaitlan Collins when he announced the proposed increase in tariffs and accused her of repeating turns.

“President, you won the White House. This is because of high inflation. If your tariffs increase prices,” she said as Trump was inserted soon.

“Sorry, I haven't asked you to speak yet,” the president shot.

When the president announced the tariff plan signed in front of reporters, he asked questions and skipped over Catelan Collins.

The president had planned to impose mutual tariffs on imports into the United States as a way to compete with other countries that would impose similar tariffs on Trump in the United States.

“I have decided for the purpose of fairness to claim mutual tariffs,” Trump declared while signing the declaration. “It's fair to everyone. Other countries can't complain.”

The president said tariffs coincided with what other countries charge the US.

“More or more… They charge us taxes or duties. We charge the exact same taxes or duties… No one knows what that number is. .You go to individual countries and see what they are charging us,” he said.

In another segment of the meeting, Trump sparred with Collins over him, saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin might want peace with Ukraine.

“Do you trust Putin?” Collins asked. The President replied:

Yes, I believe he wants to see something happen. I trust him on the subject. I think he wants to see something happen. I think it might have happened a long time ago. I think it's Biden… it's number one that shouldn't have started, but it did. And now all these cities are being knocked down like demolition sites.

“All of these beautiful golden towers will be knocked down. There's nothing to replace them. But much more importantly, you've lost millions of people. Many soldiers. But you lost millions of people. They knocked down those cities and when they were all lying on the side, they lay in ashes and crushed all the concrete, they literally looks like a world-class demolition site,” Trump continued.
