Following President Deborah Rutter's firing, several stars have announced their departure from the Kennedy Center after Trump was appointed chairman.

The Kennedy Center has thrived with a passionate, diverse audience in our nation's capital and across the nation, and We hope we continue to provide our services.”
According to hillfamous TV writer and producer Shonda Rhymes reportedly resigned from the board after serving as treasurer at the Kennedy Center.
