Can RFK Jr. make conservatives environmentalists again?

Clean energy. Algore. Nuclear power. Richard Nixon. Green New Deal. Conservation. What do all of these things have in common? They are all part of the past of the vague bubble party called “environmentalism.” Fortunately, not everyone sees it this way, and some even say the new administration holds the key to bringing a cleaner, brighter future in America and beyond. I believe it.

In “Zero Hour,” Benji Backer, founder of the American Conservation Coalition and author of the new book, sat down with “Conservative Environmentalists: Common Sense Solutions for a Sustainable Future.” Ta James Polos Discusses conservation, nuclear and environmentalism again to become a bipartisan issue.

Many people on the right are usually tired of hearing the word “environmentalism.” …This does not mean that there is an environmental and anti-environmental side. …Both are anti-environment aspects, as neither actually has an incentive to solve the problem. ”

The conservative environmentalist himself, Bucker has taken inspiration from conservative leaders in the past. They are Republicans, they proposed good conservative policies for a good environment for our country, and they actually worked across party boundaries. It was not a partisan issue before. ”

He is optimistic that RFK Jr., Trump, and many of the numbers surrounding them represent “a coalition of Americans who want to build a better country and recapture this problem.” This is a “real opportunity” to change the way politics deals with environmental issues. “For the next four years, I'll be having this problem and say, 'Hey, we care about the environment, I think we're offering this real opportunity too. I don't want to solve it in a crazy way. That's all. We want to protect people's livelihoods, we want to protect our communities. We want to make America stronger, we want to protect the environment.”

To hear more about Benji's supporters had to say about nuclear power, the history of the environmental movement, and the bipartisan future. Full episode “Zero Hour” with James Pouros.
