Lakers star LeBron James was ripped Sunday after retreating with just hours of notice and then robbed another player in the NBA All-Star Game spot.
The first thing James knew about the decision to sit on the sidelines was when he said he wasn't wearing a suit just before the game during press availability.
The announcement was too late for the league to fill their spots with another player. So the roster was one player who entered the game.
However, James' sudden decision didn't sit well with many people as he felt that James had taken away another player's chance to appear in the big game.
According to TMZa list of former players including Gilbert Arenas, Draymond Green, Vince Carter and Jalen Rose criticised James.
Arenas, for example, said that if James had given everyone more notices, Lamelo Ball might replace James.
Many fans agreed with former players that James' late decision not to play had taken away the opportunity to leave another worthy player.
