Brian Setzer, guitarist and singer of the Stray Cat and Brian Setzer Orchestra, revealed that he had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
In a recent post on Instagram, Setzer shared a close-up photo of his hand playing the guitar, saying, “At the end of our last stray cat tour, I noticed that my hands were twitching. Since then, I discovered there is a car. – Immune diseases can't play the guitar.”
He continued, “It's not painful, but when you play, you feel like you're wearing gloves. I saw an advancement in being able to hold a pen and tie your shoes. This sounds ridiculous. But I was somewhere I couldn't even do that.”

Their debut album, “Strey Cats,” featured two hit singles, “Strey Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town.”
After the group disbanded in 1984, Setzer went solo and formed the Brian Setzer Orchestra, a 17-piece big band ensemble in the 1990s.
