Reports say she was in conflict with government efficiency and she quit.

Fox News reported:

Reports say that the representative of the Social Security Agency (SSA) quit his job over the weekend after working with the Elon Musk-led Government Efficiency Agency (DOGE).

The Washington Post reported that three people familiar with Michelle King's departure said Monday that they had resigned from their position after differences of opinion.

In response to King's departure, President Donald Trump reportedly appointed Leland Dudeck to lead the agency as presidential candidate, serving as SSA commissioner Frank Vignano.

White House chief press secretary Harrison Fields said he hopes Visignano will be “quickly confirmed in the coming weeks.”

“Until then, agents will be led by social security prevention experts as representative committee members,” Fields said without naming the replacement. “President Trump is committed to appointing the best and most qualified individuals dedicated to working on behalf of the American people.
