Despite Richmond being under 100%, he ensured that 10th St. John's would not fight Big East Doom DePaul despite the absence of key scorer RJ Lewis.

In a shocking few minutes of 29, Richmond controlled the game, leading No. 1 Johnny to a loss of the Blue Demons 82-58 within Winlast Arina, and the first full regular season of the program since 1984 We've come even closer to Big East Crown. 85 seasons. They lead 16 Marquette and Clayton in the remaining two games of four games.

“I think Kadhary is probably a bit frustrated with people who don't think he's going to get through the pain, so he plays through it,” coach Rick Pitino said of his star guard. “He practices hard every day and coaches the right way every day.”

It's just a glimpse of that. However, it appears to be clicking as the March approaches and St. John's continues to pile up victory.

“It all takes time,” Richmond said. “That's what we need. It takes time for each other to be coordinated.”

Zuby Ejiofor added 13 points, nine rebounds and two blocks to start in place of Lewis, who suffered a gro caliber injury, earning a career-high 15 points, five rebounds and two assists I recorded it. Reuben's prey was missing with 4 points and 8 rebounds.

“What I'm really and really happy about is that they're taking 3 right now and not counting mistakes, and that's what's going on for us,” Pitino said 21-9 from Deep. He spoke about St. John's who shot him. “We don't just make them, we take them the right way. It was a joy to see how we filmed it, how we played it, how we rebounded. We hurt. A lot of really good things have been done on the basketball team.”

Richmond was in the middle of it, as he had been in the beginning of the new year. Back to January 2nd, the senior averaged 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.4 steel.

Despite the gro radius issue, he has not missed practice time. But that changes ahead of Sunday's match against Connecticut. He took a few days off.

“Tonight he's in a bad gro caliber, playing with almost 29 minutes, nine rebounds, five assists and no turnovers,” Pitino said. “I mean, he was great, RJ and he should be the leader of both. [Big East] This year's player. Sometimes it hurts you a little because they take the vote [when you have two contenders on the same team]but those people are both worthy. And now, getting Deivon back and healthy is a big lift for us too. ”
