Steve Bannon argued that “oligarchs” close to President Trump will abandon Republicans just like Democrats.
Bannon was A brief interview When he continued his lawsuit against tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday by CNN's Donie O'Sullivan.
“President Trump can tell us he doesn't fully trust the oligarchs,” Bannon said.
The advisor-turned-podcaster continues to say that he is not a conservative but is registered as a Republican, and sees himself as a “populist nationalist.”
He pointed out that CNN viewers would resonate with feelings that Silicon Valley executives once supported democratic missions, but now they have turned their support to Trump in a search for power.
“They abandoned the progressive left. They would abandon us and do the same,” Bannon said.
“They want power. Now their feelings are that they can see mathematics and we can see that we have a built-in coalition,” he continues. Ta. “So they're with us…but only temporarily.”
Bannon has been critical of Musk and his government's efficiency, claiming that Tesla and SpaceX leaders “want to impose his freak experiment.”
Prior to Trump's inauguration, Bannon published a fierce review of Musk and Zuckerberg's participation in celebrations. He argued that musk should not be trusted and that it can be easily persuaded over ideology.
“So we'll eventually break all these people,” Bannon said. “They're broken now.”
He has long been a Republican lawmaker and a critic of those who think he is not loyal to Trump's agenda.
