GOP Rep. Cory Mills probed after ’emotionally charged’ spat with Iranian-American activist

WASHINGTON – Rep. Corey Mills was investigating Friday after DC police reported domestic attacks on women Republican activists earlier this week.

In a statement Friday, Laviani appeared to be exempt from anything that is fraudulent.

“On Wednesday, I contacted law enforcement to address my personal issues. Several factors influenced my decision to involve the authorities. I just got from a 14-hour flight. I'm back. Plus, I was drinking on vacation and when the officers arrived I was drinking in front of my eyes, which contributed to my emotional state,” Laviani said. I did.

“When they arrived they noticed some bruises and marks on my arm, which explained that this was the result of medical conditions like eczema and travel activities to Dubai. “MPD officials were called to the 1300 block of Maryland Avenue in the southwest around 1:15pm on Wednesday to report the attack,” the department said in a statement. “This is an aggressive criminal investigation and there is no further information about the case we provide at this time.”
