I've already told you why you need to pay attention to the Ivy League this weekend. And you already know what the player likes Olivia Miles of Notre Dame and Milasia Fully Wylie of South Carolina are box office surveillance and surveillance.

However, there are some games that may not affect the seed of the NCAA Tournament, but you'll need to check out for some of the great players involved anyway.

This is a women's college basketball weekend clock guide. Let's dive in, everything.

This conflict between the two ACC candidates has obtained a university Gameday Treatment from ESPN. This means Chiney Ogwumike, Andraya Carter and Elle Duncan will be broadcast live from the historic Reynolds Coliseum before the chip-off.

It may be premature to call the conflict between Fighting Ireland and the Wolfpack a rivalry, but these matchups have been split – 3 wins in NC State, 3 wins in Notre Dame – the final six At the meeting, the results were determined. Average margin of just 6 points. The Irish have eliminated the Wolfpack from their past two ACC tournaments, but North Carolina beat Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 in 2022 and successfully defended Raleigh's home court the following season. The Irish have not won the Reynolds since 2019.

All eyes in the matchup are on the guards, one side is armed with Miles, Hannah Hidalgo and Sonia Citron, and the other is Asiaha James, Sanya Rivers and Zoe Brooks. . While NC State is aiming for a top four seed and double-by in the ACC tournament, the Irish are exploring to complete an unbeaten run in conference play. Expect a fast-paced game, some 3-pointers and a tight finish.

Games that could have a major impact on NCAA Tournament Seeds: No. 14 Kentucky's No. 7 LSU

Sunday, 4pm (ESPN)

Texas v Kentucky

When the NCAA Select Committee released March Madness's Top 16 seed projection a week ago, LSU I checked in at No. 6 and No. 13 in Kentucky. This game means a lot to both teams.

The Tigers still have the opportunity to be the number one seed in the game against Kentucky and Alabama. Olemis Left, the game at the SEC tournament in Greenville, South Carolina. If the Tigers win the remaining regular season games and get some wins at Greenville, and depending on what happens at UCLA, Texas, Notre Dame, USC and South Carolina, they'll be among the top four spots I was able to go to one.

Meanwhile, Kentucky looks like one of the teams at risk of breaking out of the top 16. Therefore, you will lose the opportunity to host the game in Lexington during the opening weekend of the tournament. The Wildcats, who coached Kenny Brooks in their first season, have won two games since the seeds were revealed, but not against teams that really help the seed sowing in Georgia and Missouri. Kentucky is 21st in the net rankings and can use Marquee's victory to solidify your resume. The good news is that they will have the opportunity to do it. The Wildcats' final three games are against LSU, Tennessee and South Carolina. You should get at least one of them. It should help keep the Wildcats in the top 16.

Amazing mid-major clash worthy of your attention: George Mason of St. Joseph

Sunday, 4pm ET – ESPNU

George Mason v George Washington

After the Ivy League, the Atlantic-10 probably has the next best chance to become a multi-vid mid-murger league this season. Three teams – Richmond (34), George Mason (44) and St. Joseph (52) – all rank in the top 55 in the net. The outcome of this game gives one of these teams a marquee victory. For George Mason, the victory gave them their first season in Quad 1, allowing St. Joe to win a Quad 2 victory as a home team.

The player you see here at St. Joe forward Laura Ziegler is sixth in the nation in rebounds and is the only player in the country this season, averaging at least 18 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.

A must-see player against interesting opponents: Vanderbilt's South Carolina No. 6

Sunday, 3pm ET – SEC Network+

Vanderbilt v Auburn

Since 2009, This is the list Freshmen who score at least 50 points in a single game:

  • Mikayla Blakes
  • Elena del Don
  • Juju Watkins

For Vanderbilt's break, that's a pretty good company, right? But consider this: Blakes did this twice this season, dropping 53 points in Florida and posting the NCAA Freshman Record 55 in Auburn last week.

Let's take a look at another list. Since 2009, there have been players who averaged at least 23 points, three assists and three rebounds per game in a season.

  • Mikayla Blakes
  • Kate Linklark
  • Kelsey Mitchell
  • Juju Watkins

Again, Blake's rather exceptional company. Can she score 50 and lead Vanderbilt into South Carolina's upset? It's worth tweaking to see her try.

Slutty Guilty Pleasure Game on St. Thomas Minnesota's South Dakota

Saturday, 2pm ET – Summit League Network

Syndication: Argus Leader

Samantha Laurey / Argus Leader / USA Today Network

Unfortunately, with an 8-17 record, South Dakota probably won't be playing an NCAA tournament. This means that you won't be able to see the best talented scores of Grace Larkins' play at Madness in March.

So it's time to watch Larkins as much as possible, even if it means coming up with a way to watch the Summit League network. Larkins is third in the nation in scoring this season, and is the only player in the nation, averaging at least 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists with 24.4 points per game. She is also ranked 18th nationwide for her offensive winning stocks.
