According to the latest health updates San Antonio Spars Legendary coach Greg Popovich is not expected to return this season, and his future with the team is questionable.
ESPN NBA insider Shamscharania provided an update on Popovich's health on Saturday night as the Spurs head coach recovered from a “mild stroke” in the beginning of November. As reported by Charania Popovich, this year is not expected, and his future is “uncertain:”

Popovich hasn't been a coach since early November. He suffered from mild strokes ahead of the team's November 2nd match. Minnesota Timberwolves. Assistant coach Mitch Johnson stepped into the interim head coaching role that night, and since then he has posted a 21-27 record with the Spurs.
Popovich is the most wondrous head coach in the NBA with 1,390 regular season victories and has 170 postseason victories. San Antonio has won five NBA titles under stewardship.
San Antonio is also dealing with the absence of second-year star Victor Wenbagnama, who was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a deep venous thrombosis in his right shoulder. The Spurs believe the condition is an isolated incident and hopes that Wenbanyama will recover in full.
