In Kent, Indiana, a horrifying moment occurred as a bus carrying the Indiana University Indianapolis men's basketball team fired on Saturday on its way home from the road game.
The team returned from a match against northern Kentucky when mechanical issues ignited the bus.
According to a post from X's Iu Indy Athletics, the entire team and staff have evacuated the bus safely. The post also mentioned that another bus was on the way to pick them up for a trip to Indianapolis.

Photos were provided by IU Indy Athletics to Fox News Digital. This showed that the bus was completely burning and burning from the flames that were engulfed in the middle of the highway.
Another photo shows the rising black smoke from the bus, causing obvious traffic on the highway.

Iu Indy is 9-20 overall year (5-13 in conference play). They went roughly recently, losing 4 of the last five games.

Only two games remain in the regular season, both of which are at their homes in Indianapolis.
They will face Robert Morris this Thursday at 6:30pm
The senior's final home game will also be Senior Day, but will oppose Wright State on Saturday at 2:30pm
