Eagles would be ‘honored’ to visit White House as they await invite

The Eagles' Super Bowl 2025 celebration may eventually include the White House.

Over the weekend, reports surfaced that the team would skip a visit to DC to be attacked by President Trump, but they were apparently premature.

According to numerous NFL insiders on Monday, the team wants to go to the White House, as well as the tradition of professional North American sports league champions.

Doing so would return the favors paid by Trump, who became the first seat president to attend the Super Bowl.

Only four players from the 2018 Super Bowl team remain on the Eagles roster. Tackles from kicker Jake Elliott, defensive end Brand Glaham, Lane Johnson and long snapper Rick Lovato.

The 2024 Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, became the first team to visit the White House in Trump's second term on February 3rd.
