Charissa Thompson sent a love letter to Fox Sports as the veteran host revealed that her contract had expired after the 2024 NFL season.
In recent articles of “Calm down” podcast, Thompson gushed at longtime employers, explaining that Fox gave his family a VIP treatment at the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9th.
“I have to say one thing – and this is what I'm doing about Fox and I don't just because my contract is up. I swear. I love Fox because my brother and dad came Super Bowl and Fox are family to me, so my own family likes to share in that moment,” Thompson said with her co-host. He told fellow Fox Sports Sideline Reporter Erin Andrews.
“It was so much fun. Fox is very welcoming and makes sure it's included in the event and everything. So unless I mention how great my family is for my family. , I just repent.”
Outside of work, Thompson and Andrews covered Super Bowl 2025, which aired on Fox.
The pair often discusses “serene” podcasts about how close they are to Fox's colleagues and how it is a family environment.
Andrews previously shared that her contract was also this offseason.
Thompson, 42, is holding a “Fox NFL Kickoff” show, in addition to many NFL film spots for Fox.
She also hosts Amazon Prime Video's “Thursday Night Football” pre-game show.
In 2023, Thompson faced criticism for saying he “created a report” while working as a sideline reporter early in his career.
She later spoke to her comment. She said in a note posted to Instagram when she appeared on Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take podcast.
“If there is no coach who provides information that can further promote the report, we can use what we learned and seen in the first half to create a report,” Thompson said before providing an example. I wrote it.
“If a team is third and 7 and zero, that's clearly an area that needs to be improved in the second half. In these examples, I've never attributed what I told the players or coaches.” she wrote.
Similar to Fox Sports, an NFL spokesman for Prime Video on Amazon declined to comment on the subject. According to Athletics.
