MSNBC host Rachel Madou I wasn't happy A fellow host, Joy Reid is suddenly forced to leave the network. Reed is another name on the long list of news personalities that have been kicked out amid the second Trump administration and a decline in ratings.
The final episode of the lead show “The Reidout,” which began in 2020, was Monday. When it was time for her own show, Madou praised her current former colleague.
“In all the work I had in every year of my life, I have no colleague who has had more affection and respect than Joy Reid. I love everything about her. I am. I learned a lot from her. I want to lose her here at MSNBC, I understand that,” Madou said.
Maddow went on to hint that the decision by executives to cancel Reid's show was racist and therefore “unprotectable.”
Reid shed tears during the video because he thought the show was worth it.
“I'll tell you, we count them in two networks, and that two non-white hosts at Primetime, both our non-white hosts at Primetime are losing their show I'm also worried about watching it, like Katie fans on the weekend, regardless of who's not following it.”
Maddow also lamented that MSNBC staff who worked on the cancelled show are likely to quit their jobs.
“Dozens of producers and staff have been fired, including one of the most experienced, talented, most talented and most talented producers in the building. They will reapply for new jobs. They are invited to: the bottom of whether people feel this is a good place to work.
Maddow hinted at the second Trump terminology at the low rating and the rise of conservative and independent media, saying this is “a challenging time in the news business, but it doesn't have to be this difficult.” . Maddow did not say she would refuse to leave her flexible work or take more money from her probably racist networks.
Before the final show on Monday, Reid shed tears between the videos as he thought his show was “worthy.” She said she has no regrets about the extreme rhetoric of Christians, conservatives and the Magazine movement.
