It is no secret that President Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been chasing government waste and corruption through government efficiency.
Trump has also shown he will be open to a proposal by Elon Musk to give taxpayers a Doge dividend check with money saved by cutting government spending.
“Elon Musk proposes the possibility of giving Americans money based on what Doge is discovering. Do you have any thoughts on that?” a reporter asked the president.
“I love it, for money that's saving money by chasing 20% dividends, waste and fraud, abuse, etc., all the other things happening. I think that's a great idea.” Trump replied.
“How much money do you think you have?” the reporter pressed.

“It could be a lot, meaning 20% would give taxpayers a huge amount of money back and incentivize them to go out and report where they can go and save money,” he said. Ta.
Sarah Gonzalez “Sara Gonzalez is not filtered” is doing math, which would be a significant amount for taxpayers.
“Doge has already discovered $55 billion, and they say they are hoping to find $2 trillion,” says Gonzales. “Let's say they hypothesize that they found $2 trillion. You're talking about 20% of that, so according to this mathematics it's $400 billion.”
“And if you distribute $400 billion to 79 million households paying income tax, it's really depressing to think about how many people there are in the world, and that's the only household that pays income tax. We're one of them.” She continues.
“So when you do that math, they say it's like $5,000 per tax household,” adds Gonzalez, who says that her husband, Stephen Smith, is that a good idea. I'm not sure.
“I don't think it's a good idea for the government to send one of these kinds of stimulus checks. I just want them to amend the tax law and not only return the money, but lower my taxes. ” says Smith.
