White House officials confirmed in Fox News that a proxy administrator has been appointed to the role while billionaire Elon Musk oversees government efficiency (DOGE).
Amy Gleason, a poor executive with healthcare technology expertise, has appointed Doge's proxy leader, responsible for repelling many federal agencies while finding and cutting billions of dollars in government waste It was done.
Gleason's identity was revealed after the reporter forced White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt to anyone actually running.
CBS News' Nancy Code pointed out to Leavitt that President Donald Trump is asking for the naming of Doge's administrator. She then asked the president's spokesman who served as Doge administrator.

“So the president left Elon Musk to oversee the efforts,” Levitt said. “We have career officials and political appointees who help us run every day.
“Some individuals have been mounted as political appointees of all the agencies, all across the board, working with President Trump's Cabinet, to discover and identify waste, fraud, and abuse. They work on that effort every day. I'm here.”
Cordes asked immediately, “So, is Elon Musk the manager?” Leavitt called out another reporter twice.

Gleason, 53, worked for US Digital Services, an agency renamed US Doge Services from 2018 to 2021, according to her LinkedIn profile. In that role, she worked with the White House to work together on the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Gleason returned to his agency after Trump returned to his oval office in January.
