Nic Claxton was suspended without a salary in one game as a result of the sixth notable foul point in the regular season.
The center will respond to Wednesday's ban, when the net plays Barclays Center's Oklahoma City.
The 25-year-old Claxton averages 10.1 points per game for the Nets, but more importantly, he is a defensive standout. .
Without Claxton, the net could be more dependent on Dayron Sharp.
The suspension was announced by the league on Tuesday.
The team also announced that Kendall Brown has signed a two-way contract.
Brown played 20 games on Nets Long Island G League affiliate.
He appeared in 21 games with Pacer in his NBA career.
