Nurse who said she wouldn’t treat Israelis is now facing multiple charges

Nurses who said they would not treat Israeli patients are currently facing multiple federal accusations in Australia.

According to the Associated Press, 26-year-old Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, was taken into custody Tuesday after commenting on a video posted online earlier this month.

Abu Lebde and another nurse, Ahmed Rashid Nadir, were suspended from Bankstown Lidcom Hospital near Sydney on February 12th. Abu Lebde said in the video the night before he would not treat Israeli patients, but Nadir suggested he had killed the Israelis. The AP reported.

However, the hospital looked at patient records, but found no evidence that the nurse had harmed the patient.

The video posted online was described as “anti-Semitic” by the New South Wales Police.

They added that it was “photographed at Bankstown Hospital and widely distributed on social media.”

Abu Lebdeh has been charged with a federal crime of threatening violence against the group. He said he used carriage services to kill threats, threatening to use carriage services for threats, harassment and crimes.

The charges owed a potential maximum penalty of 22 years in prison.

Abu Lebdeh is released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 19th.

The Australian Jewish community was surprised by the rising anti-Semitism.

In the video, the man and woman who said they were doctors spoke to another individual via Chat Rouleetka.

After the Israelis revealed his nationality, the female worker said, “It is a Palestinian country, not your country, not your country.”

When Israeli men sought peace, the conversation escalated, and the woman said, “When the time comes, I want you to remember my face, so you can understand that you will die the most disgusting death.”

The two continued, saying that they would not treat the man and would kill him if he came to their hospital.
