Secretary of State Marco Rubio is attempting to deny visas for trans athletes in accordance with President Donald Trump's instructions.
Rubio's State Department issued an order on February 24th placing “permanent fraud bars” to applicants who “misinformed” sex while applying for a visa to enter the US to compete in sports.
“If applicants suspect that they are misrepresenting their travel or gender purpose, we should consider whether this injustice is important to support ineligible findings,” Rubio's directive. I'll readAccording to Guardian.

Trump too I said He would refuse a visa for trans athletes who hope to compete for the upcoming 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
When he signed the order, Trump noted that “the war with women's sports is over.”
It's not clear that trans athletes intend to compete in the 2028 game, but it's hinting that one controversial athlete will already compete in the next game.
