Kansas City Chiefs: Trump meets with Harrison Butker

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Backer stopped by the White House on Thursday to visit President Donald Trump for more than two weeks after losing in the Super Bowl LIX.

Trump chose the Chief to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. However, millions of viewers who joined the game on Fox and Tubi ended their chances for the Chiefs with three consecutive titles, as Philadelphia played a Smackdown in Kansas City, winning 40-22.

“Harrison Backer stopped by the White House today, and the president would not have been happy to say hello,” a White House official told Fox News.

Backer supported Trump for the president during his 2024 election campaign. He called Republicans “President of Most Life” in an interview on Fox News Channel about “The Ingraham Angle.”

We want us to fight for the most vulnerable people and fight for the unborn child. That's what we should prioritize.”

In December, Backer supported Trump's selection of Vatican ambassador.

Butker expressed the values of Christianity in a faith-based opening speech at Benedictine College last year. He called on former President Joe Biden about his religious views as a Catholic.
