DeSantis reacts to Byron Donalds officially entering governor’s race

Homestead, Florida. – Governor Ron Desantis (R) thwarted his criticism on Wednesday after being asked by Blaze Media what he thought of lawmakers officially taking part in the race for the governor.

DeSantis held a press event at Homestead Airways Reserve Base near Miami, explaining what the state is doing to support President Donald Trump's plan to abolish a massive amount of illegal immigrants in the country. After much speculation and expectations, Donald announced his candidacy on Tuesday.

“You have these elections, and people start talking about new elections. Why don't you actually get something done based on the previous election?”

“I would like to focus on establishing the 24th year election by showing that this work is finished here, rather than the 26 year election,” replied Desantis.

“You have these elections, so people start talking about new elections. Why don't you actually get something done based on the previous election? And I think President Trump deserves that all Republicans are particularly supportive of those efforts. That's what we're doing here,” he continued.

When DeSantis was asked about Donald's candidacy before he entered the race, the governor pointed out more about what he thought of Donald's time in Congress, saying he went missing in his recent victory to push the state's GOP priorities.

“[Donalds has] We're campaigning in other states, and that's fine, but okay, well, it's going to bring out the results there. That's what I want to see. I want to see them deliver results for the people of Florida,” DeSantis said. You can go back very quickly. It can happen, 100%. ”

When he announced his candidacy, Donald said DeSantis “has done an incredible job for our state, but now the job is to keep the best state in the country as the best state in the country.” Donald argues that the records he had when he was at the Florida State Capitol proves he can push GOP laws.

DeSantis publicly informs that his wife, Casey, may be his successor. If she ran for governor, the president could have set up another bruising primary between DeSanti Camp and Team Trump, as she already supports Donald for the governor.

Politics It has been reported Donald had more than $1.7 million in his Congressional campaign account at the end of the year, allowing him to move to the state's political committee for the race.
