Arizona State’s Cam Skattebo Hit With Lawsuit By Former Teammate Over Golf Cart Accident: REPORT

Arizona returning superstar Cam Scottebo has been sued by a former teammate in a golf cart accident that reportedly caused serious injuries.

Back in May, Catealis sued the Arizona Legislature's board of directors, but is now including Scattebo in the case. Katergaris is reportedly looking for around $300,000 Damages for the number of negligence from both Scattebo and the Arizona Commission.

The Golf Cart Crash took place on July 31, 2023. Catealis claims he and his teammates were sitting behind a golf cart heading from the training facility to the Sun Devils locker room. A day ago, the team was said to have been told there is a weight limit of 600 pounds in the back seat. This is two large soccer players.

The lawsuit alleges that Scattebo “jumped behind the golf cart” and “jumped up and down on the rear bench when the golf cart traveled a considerable distance. The rear bench on the golf cart then failed structurally.”

Cateris then claims that he fell out of the cart and “provided months of medical care due to serious injuries.”

ASU has already paid for the treatment of Katergaris, with the school admitting that “there is reason to believe that the accused is boarding the back of the golf cart and that the other two players are sitting in the rear section” and “there is acknowledging that the rear bench of the golf cart has been broken.”
